Mikayla and Danny are a Baltimore-based acoustic duo blending blues, soul, Americana, and roots music into stripped-down arrangements built around vocals and guitar. Performing together since 2020, their repertoire moves between timeless artists like Bill Withers, Sam Cooke, Bonnie Raitt, and Amy Winehouse and modern favorites including Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, and Sierra Ferrell, to name a few.
Over the past several years, Mikayla and Danny have performed throughout the Mid-Atlantic — everywhere from intimate bars and restaurants to wineries, private events, festivals, and larger stages. They’re also the founding members of Baltimore blues-rock band Mallow Hill, whose original music has taken them to venues throughout the region and to Nashville to record with producer Dex Green.
